I am going to have to buy this book!
I used to let everyone have control of my life, except God. I have learned that is a painful road to go down. Then I tried to control my own life…Whew, did that blow up in my face! I only seemed stuck up and obstinate! I now pray daily for me to see the path He has planned for me. I do step off the path from time to time and have to relinquish control back to Him. All in all, I have faith that God will put me where I need to be, lead me to the people I need to be led to, and keep me from the people I need to stay away from.

My time of solitude and listening to God is when I take my evening walks. Completely alone with nature and fresh air and my thoughts and God. It is bliss! It started as me wanting to shed a few extra pounds and turned into a blessing.

Roger Miller is great. King of the Road and Dang Me are some favs of mine from my childhood!
35 year olds should know that when they dance for 2 hours straight, the next two or three days are miserable when trying to move!

Yes, too much milk tea will make me fat…..that is true.

I like it very much.
But I can’t drink it too often,it will make
me…(I think you know…..ha ha)

I think you can try different flavors next time ,
like Konnyaku Jelly Milk Tea (we call it “ye guo nai cha”)
or Pudding Milk Tea(we call it bu ding nai cha,add pudding to the milk tea)

they are also good ~

Hey sounds like a good read…

I think we’ve talked about before in yth group but relying on God goes against our human nature. The only time we are really dependent on another is when we are babies. Then we turn 2 or 3 and become Mr or Miss Independent. We are taught to rely on ourselves.
I really like the part about the rush of life and what we really need is to stop and turn off all distractions and listen to our Heavenly Father. Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Hope you all are doing okay over there!
