yes… I never learned the word “casserole” before I came to the US… and I think thanksgiving is only celebrated in the north America

And a scene just popped up in my head: one day in the future, around God’s throne Jeff introduces some of your Taiwanese friends to me, telling them “this is Michael, the Taiwanese who liked all our 蛋餅 pictures as he missed Taiwanese food much when studying in SBTS”

It does look like you guys had a great time…and I’m sure your taiwanese friends enjoyed celebrating an American holiday with you! I wasn’t able to make it home either…but enjoyed a nice meal with a sweet family God’s placed in my life here in Louisville. Looking forward to Christmas and time with the family!

You’ll have to talk your family into a ‘welcome home jf’ party’..with all the trimmings of Thanksgiving and Christmas! Enjoy your last month–praying for you and the gang!
